What is EGRIFTA WR?

EGRIFTA WR is a prescription medicine used to reduce excess visceral abdominal (belly) fat in adults with HIV and lipodystrophy.*

EVAF is not like regular fat

Weight gain typically occurs when regular fat (also known as subcutaneous fat) builds up beneath your skin. This type of fat tends to feel “pinchable” or squishy. But if you notice a firmness deeper in your abdomen, it could be EVAF. EVAF in people with HIV can be difficult to control with diet and exercise alone.
